Natural warmth inside a bold renovation.
Henry House reimagines a Victorian home for contemporary inner-Melbourne living. Soaring raked ceilings, marble surfaces and generous natural light create a bold setting for cabinetry that still needs to feel calm and enduring.
We used Polytec Natural Oak Ravine to introduce warmth and texture across the joinery. Integrated finger pulls keep the cabinetry lines clear and allow the material to sit comfortably alongside the home’s stronger architectural gestures.
Natural Oak Ravine gives the fitted elements a tactile grain that responds to the light and softens the surrounding stone. The finish continues across broad elevations without overwhelming the volume of the room.
Working within the project delivered by FRP Group, we kept the joinery detailing restrained beneath the raked ceilings. Integrated pulls preserve the clean lines and allow material, proportion and craftsmanship to remain the focus.
