Natural veneer or a timber-look finish?
A timber kitchen is a visual direction, not a complete material specification. Natural timber veneer and a timber-look decorative surface are different products. The right choice starts with the texture you want, the surrounding materials and how the kitchen will be used.
At Il Nido House we used American oak veneer in a 10% matte finish. At Meraki House, the rich walnut appearance comes from Polytec Florentine Walnut Woodmatt. We explain those differences as we develop your brief, so a photograph becomes a clear specification rather than a guess.

Polytec Florentine Walnut Woodmatt carries a walnut-look palette through the kitchen and living areas. Integrated finger pulls leave the surfaces visually uninterrupted.
Henry House
A natural oak palette, stone island and dark rangehood show how timber cabinetry can sit beside stronger contrasting elements.

Handles, finger pulls, appliance fronts and internal storage shape the experience as much as the finish. We resolve them with the layout rather than leaving them until the end.
From idea to installation
One team carries the design through.
We design, manufacture and install our cabinetry in Melbourne. The first consultation helps establish the room, your priorities and the scope of the joinery. Once your quote is approved, detailed 3D renders help you review the design before production.

Are these solid timber kitchens?
The projects shown use different specified finishes, including natural timber veneer and timber-look Woodmatt. We explain the proposed construction and finish in your own design and quote; a timber appearance does not mean every cabinet is solid timber.
Can I combine timber cabinetry with painted finishes?
We can discuss a mixed palette as part of your custom kitchen brief. Bring examples of the balance you like, and we will work through the materials, proportions and practical details with you.
What does a custom timber kitchen cost?

Do you make the kitchen locally?
